Administration Joomla! 5.x • Default article layout for a menu blog for a category and sub categories.

Whilst working on my website, I have inadvertently screwed up the layout of the articles in my category blog menus. I have spent hours trying to change them back and have made them worse.

Is there a default layout that I can show in a menu:

• Articles in a category with no subcategories showing

• Subcategories under a top category with just sub-category headings showing which, when clicked, then show the articles in the category

This was all working correctly until I had a coffee and changed something without realising it. Is there a demo site anywhere that shows different layouts and which menu, category, and article options you need to use to get them?
